Kepler's Obsession16th century astronomer Johannes Kepler believed that the five regular solids determined the layout of the known universe. Although he later proved himself wrong, today astrophysicists theorize that our universe may indeed be “shaped” like a dodecahedron! The most beautiful and efficient nesting of the five Platonic solids, this model progresses from a blue icosahedron (in the center) to a turquoise octahedron to a green tetrahedron to a yellow cube to a red dodecahedron. Since Zome regular polyhedra are normally “Blues” or “Greens,” you get some very rare struts in this kit, such as turquoise “Green” lines and red and yellow “Blue” lines. Includes 158 parts and colorful, step-by-step instructions. |
